Can't pick 'a' song, but there was a Peaches Records store within walking distance of my house that got alot of my allowance money. Some records, but being 14 coincided with the (mercifully short lived era of) 8 track tapes as well; so I will leave you with this one, which is actually scary a bit considering the foreshadowing!! (Add an 8 track -chunk-chunk- for full experience.) https://youtu.be/SECVGN4Bsgg

whole album bonus https://youtu.be/8DfQDrmhwKw thanks A

Nice pick Amy. My pick is Boston's "More than a feeling."

I LOVE this song too. Went to see them at Disneyland, just to hear it live. I used to laugh that a rock song was evoking a Latin Gregorian chant. Used to sing the chant in church growing up.

I didn't know that song, Amy. Thank you for sharing.

To your question: I've had a few favourites that, depending on the time of life strife, have bubbled up into or out of the top 10. For tonight, under the circumstances of the last few years, maybe the BNL's cover of Bruce Cockburn's 'Lovers in a Dangerous Time'.

I was looking at that tonight, and the lyrics are even more powerful now than when it was a (Canadian) hit.

And Springsteen's album Tunnel of Life also comes to mind, tonight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ-Eiynlx3w
