Artwork and Old Pictures
The Fourth of July Had Me in a Reflective Mood
Growing up the Fourth of July was my favorite holiday of the year. It was summer of course but mostly I remember the huge block parties my brother would throw with several houses and hundreds of dollars of fireworks. My father’s birthday was on the fifth of July, so he always stayed up watching everything until midnight, when everyone still awake would wish him a happy birthday. This is a watercolor I painted of him many years ago. For you, Dad. Happy Birthday and may you rest in peace.
Here in Thailand it has been pouring down rain all day and obviously nobody recognizes American Independence Day as any type of holiday. So it seemed like a good day to go digging through some of my old pictures and artwork. I just figured I’d share a few more.
This is a mural I painted in Las Vegas
I did this one for a charity auction many years ago. Dominek Hasek signed it and seemed impressed!
I rediscovered this picture of my Mom when she was a teacher at the convent…wish my photo of the original was sharper
Daisy was a cute puppy too once!
Sprout was a cute kitten
Bangkok skyline..please tell me the whole quarantine hotel thing never happens again
Hope you all have a Happy Fourth of July if you are celebrating it. And if not, celebrate it anyways…
Murals are my favorite I have done a lot of them I really need to organize my portfolio of work it's scattered everywhere
